The Gig Harbor Canoe & Kayak Racing Team gathers before they train in the rainy weather. Mac Hickox, National Development Director for the U.S. sprint team, fourth from the left, was hired in spring 2007 to help strengthen the different canoe and kayak clubs across the country.
